Does degree worth it?

Kenya and the whole world have been experiencing an influx in the index of job seekers who are aggressive in the search. It has even reached a state whereby individuals do not even care if the job is really related to the degree they had acquired. Don’t be surprised to witness a highly qualified once engineering student teaching physics. It really wasn’t their wish but due to globalisation and survival for the fittest, he found himself on the weaker organisms’ side thus he was weeded out. Paving their way through was very difficult since the race proved not only to consist of papers but also their personality. It was a formality which made others to despair even before the completion of the task intended. Some are just by virtue presenting their soul in the classes instead of actually attending to take courses. Interviews have ambushed many who thought that the literature on the paper would speak for them yet the interviewers know that those were mwakenya’s result but not th...

Ethnicity in campus.

Provocation! Why do you have to remind a person of his past?   This has afflicted the tribal affiliations in our country recently. Even here in campus, the pathogens causing tribalism are vividly present. It is amoral for any individual to get involved in this choking and an immature condition. It is classism if you segregate your fellow comrade because his roots are from Mombasa, Makueni, Tharaka Nithi, Siaya, and Kesses or even from Mandera. It is a political injustice to casket yourself in such cocoons. Absolutely a great shame! Basing my reasoning from the prevailing situation here in campus, it is not a surprise that student group themselves from ethnical grounds be it class groups or even socially. Who should be blamed for this? Are they our forefathers or us? It is a shame that Onyango and Kamau cannot be together simply because they have ...

A DREAM TO CAPTURE.

Recall of moments when any family is extremely happy. To most families it’s always during Christmas and the first day of a year. Never put aside days when a baby is born because they are remarkable. 1987, 29 th 0f November was the day when joy was upon our family. It was the day I was born. To my family, they’ll always remember it more than other families do. My birth really brought a lot of light to them after several years of struggle to get a child. My mother and father have me as their only son and child. This really makes them care a lot for me since then in many ways. Having been the only kid of a father and a mother has brought a lot of experience to me. There are positive and negative gains. We were living at Changamwe in Mombasa. My parents were always busy throughout the week. They always left me with a house-help. My father, Mr. Paul Oduor Obwar was a businessman who rarely was seen in his home due to his extreme commitment to business. My mother, Mrs. Veronicah Aoko O...

SHEBESH NUDE PICS NULL AND VOID

Image
Somebody has just vowed to cripple Shebesh just by posting photo-shopped images of her nude body.....did she allow you to take snaps of her naked....if you are keen enough just closely look at the pictures and you will realize a lot of editing was done. Those who understand what photo shop is  will realize this is just a plot to distort her original photos.....quite disgusting...I know this is a political retaliation over skirmishes she has been into recently....please don't kill her career because i like it when a woman is a leader....am just imagining she being my mother..

SAFARICOM SHUT LINES FOR OVER AN HOUR.

Yesterday 8 th October 2013 all Safaricom lines were shut down as no service could be used by the subscribers. No calls were going through as people got stranded as their lines became of no use. Even the SMS couldn’t establish themselves. When one made a phone call, the customer care would be heard informing of unregistered card a fact that surprised holders. You were required to visit any safaricom agent or visit any m-pesa agent to registered your line. It was a night of blackout that left the sim-card holders stranded not to know what to do. The system was later established as services could now be enjoyed. Though the unregistered lines remained shutdown as they required registeration. This followed after the arrest of both the Safaricom LTD and Airtel LTD CEOs were arrested and each charged a fine of KSHS. 50,000 for not complying with the government order of registering all lines before the end of last year. It is believed that the terrorist in recent Westgate attack had...

SIASA CHAFU
